I have an opening with one of my client in Hyderabad (a developer, manufacturer and marketer for advanced molecular pathology systems for cancer detection, bio-medical research, drug discovery and development.

Head RA & QA (Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance)

Job Profile:

- To establish and implement Company’s overall compliance policies and strategies to meet business needs
- To oversee the functions of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to ensure all budget, scheduling, efficiency and objectives are met
- To direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective quality management system to ensure that FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality requirements
- To direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective regulatory compliance programs, including FDA submissions, international product registration, product classification and labeling, field corrective actions, and Health, Environmental and Safety compliance, to ensure that all relevant domestic and international regulatory requirements
- An overall experience of 15 – 20 years working in a Quality Management role in a regulated interface, which includes previous interface with FDA
- must be a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline

Head R & D (Research & Development)

Job Profile:

- This person should innovate, manage, guide and develop the R&D team into various ventures
- Responsible for new product innovation, feasibility, analytical and clinical validation
- Be a forerunner in multiple collaboration, public and private partnership deals
- Handle issues related to IP product specification
- Responsible for Molecular Pathology research and development activities in product cycle of invitro diagnostic tests using immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and latest diagnostic technologies
- will establish and oversee a new product team for development of manual and automated IHC, ISH, FISH assays and other cell based high throughput findings
- Will lead reagents and systems development and product validation
- Thirteen to fifteen years of relevant scientific experience or Masters degree with fifteen - twenty years related experience
- The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Immunology / Cancer Biology / Cell Biology / Pathology

Job Profile:

- This position requires a person to manage IPR & Regulatory Affairs related issues and Patent search and landscape analysis
- Management of IPR & Regulatory Affairs related issues.
- Patent search and landscape analysis.
- Coordination with US, EP and other attorneys.
- Looking after legal issues related to contracts & Agreements
- Legal contracts and Agreements
- Patents management and maintenance
- Knowledge of regional languages and distributors would be an added advantage
- An overall experience of 10 – 15 years in related field
- A graduate in Law is a must with a Diploma in Patent Law or Certificate course in Intellectual Property Management
